I think I understand the deal and just posted my understanding, maybe others more familiar with these securities can provide more in depth explanation. I would think that institutions that must be in the market would go after such a deal, since it does provide in essence a cushion, but selling calls on SEBL in February for delivery of stock in August next year might have provided a better return (g).
