Lay and his gang are being protected by Bush. Don't hold your breath on this resolving itself anytime soon. Stonewalling and distraction are the key tactics here. The Shrub's PR people have an endless series of distractions from fat fighting to war mongering to terror titillation to tease the twits in the public with. The public's attention span can be measured in seconds. He's hoping that Enron simply becomes too stale and boring, and then his pals can ooze back into the primordial swamp from whence they came.
