taboo or urban legend?

As far as I know it is not possible for US residents to even obtain canadian brokerage accounts except in one or two states since new agreements are in place that require canadian firms to register in the states in which they have clients. I don't know of any canadian firms registered in my state. If you find one and tehy allow nekkid shirtin' please let me know.

Oh wait, you are not a US resident. Why not call a canadian broker and get yer answers from the source?
