Ed, The purpose of this board is to discuss stock related issues including the market.

This does not include convicting A@P before his trial. Nor does it include all the other BS that is frequently posted. At least Wolf's posting meets the criteria for stock/stock market general information.

I just wish there was more stock related posting. The site sure has degenerated from its purpose.

another unwritten SI TOU rule

you can't make two or more posts in a row that are "deemed" to be spam or repetitive in any way. This is of course up to Jeff's discretion. If a stock promoter makes 20 posts in a row, all old positive PRs about his tout, that is not spam. If someone else posts three negative items in a row, it is spam. Go figure. See npct thread for this evidence.

Also, if someone makes an invasion of privacy or personal attack, only the person attacked/violated may report it. If someone else reports it, nothing happens. If he/she does not, say they're out of town over 24 hours, then the post may stay and nothing happens to the offending poster.

And, if someone posts their own name, then anyone else can post a link to information about them available online. You just can't post the information directly. Of course if others like goelo complain about that same thing, the post will be deleted.

So many unwritten rules.
