Steve Winwood Performs with String Cheese Incident, Widespread Panic at Bonnaroo

MANCHESTER, TN – Steve Winwood took the stage with String Cheese Incident and Widespread Panic Saturday at Bonnaroo. Winwood, along with Karl Denson, joined String Cheese for “I’m the Man” in the late afternoon. During the evening set, Winwood returned to play keyboards and sing “Glad” -> “Low Spark of High Heeled Boys” with Widespread Panic. Dottie Peoples and the People’s Choir sang on “Ain’t Life Grand” -> “Tall Boy” -> “Testify” -> “Tall Boy.” DJ Logic also emerged during an extended drum segment in the second set.

Friday night, Panic welcomed saxophonist Randall Bramlett for “Down,” Sometimes” and “Imation.” Dirty Dozen Brass Band and Gov’t Mule drummer Matt Abts also sat in.
