Nice to see you too. This place is just irresistible, isn't it? I enjoy reading Wolcott's cultural observations in Vanity Fair. Love his writing style! Just because MSNBC is canning Keyes and putting on Phil Donahue, I wouldn't assume a liberal ascendancy. It may be that some of the gasbags are just getting tedious. I don't think Keyes is a gasbag, but O'Reilly comes to mind. His schtick is getting old. Is there a prize for Most Excruciating Alliteration? If so, this may be it. Yesterday the state Ballot Law Commission ruled that Republican Mitt Romney meets the state's inhabitancy requirement, dashing Democratic hopes of disposing of him without defeating him. But this wasn't just a legal victory; it was also a political triumph. Today, Romney is vindicated - and the Democratic Party looks picayune, pettifogging, and petrified. boston.com
