WT, Re: If only major league baseball had done the right thing and made an offer to Bush to become Commish. How much suffering it would have saved this country and the world! I would have gladly sacrificed baseball to this man's machinations in order to spare the world his meddling. Re: From top to bottom it is a joke. Dow is approaching 9000 today, reality will start to set in soon as the "recovery" stalls. Some 70% of likely voters are honed in on domestic issues rather than foreign policy. They will see through the tissue-thin lies regarding the Republican prescription drug benefit. They will see the huge deficits that Bush has imposed on us. They will see that anti-terror efforts are largely missing the target. They will see that Bush is doing all he can to stall and minimize the efforts to prosecute criminal buddies like Kenny Boy. They will be mad as hell. And for very good reasons. -Ray
