Larry - do you see any risks in comparing this mkt to 1974 fundamentally? American corporate fundamentals really sucked in the 70s. I like to think intel won't be stupid enough to create a "planned obsolescence" microprocessor...

My thoughts too. However, I couldn't resist, so I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a small amount of Cisco at $13.40. I'll buy more if it goes into the $12's and some more if it goes into the $11's. Then I'll sit it out and wait for the earnings release and hope that Cisco meets its targets. I'm thinking that they will, since their suppliers (Broadcom, Jabil, etc) are reporting growth in Cisco product components. Either way, I'll sell it all either right after the earnings release or sometime prior depending on how far and how fast it goes up (if it goes up at all).
