Mind, I looked at the top 40 of the big cap tech stocks during the weekend and really believe that you cannot find a better growth story than CSCO. I will rate it a neutral as I will probably say sell on most of the other companies. My main problems with CSCO are: 1) how will CSCO perform if the IT spending does not pick up significantly until 04? 2) If the NAZ and S&P breaks the 9/11 low, I think that we will enter the crashing phase of the bear market that can send the indexes to levels seen in 95-96. CSCO has shown admirable relative strength in the last leg down. Will it get sold hard simply because it did not drop too much? 3) If companies are finally asked to report stock option as expenses, how will that affect CSCO's bottom number?
And the more I look at today's bounce, the more I believe it's really a technical bounce at best.
