Ken, I saw no signs of recent fire but evidence of the 88 fire is everywhere.In many places tall dead trees still stand . Sometimes the ground beneath is like a carpet of green with little trees every where.Actually I would have expected those trees to be larger by now.Nonetheless visiting the park is a spiritual experience IMO.

The last fires took care of that for quite a while. There's so much to see, the fire part is simply an interesting 'circle of life' type thing IMO.
