Dave, just think of going down as the flip of going up. When the market is showing signs of a peak the big boys take their profits and wait for a cleared shift. If we are getting close to a bottom is it not reasonable for the hedge funds to take their profits and run - they sure don't want to get caught like they did a week ago Friday when the DOW reversed and ran up 200 points. They are going to start covering before everyone else does, which could start any day for the early birds while the greedy ones may be get caught on the short stick after 4 July if they can't manufacture some major negative news.
