Don't you think that the Saudis were approached on that one, and told to comply, at least silently ? As for the Western smart left, (for the radical one, it is business as usual), they are squeezed, dilemmed. But they damned themselves on that one and know it. France's "Liberation" daily editorial is going to be a great reading later. What can it find to gambit itself out but "Shoot the Sherif ? My take for their title : "Goerges W Wayne draws" And the article will tell us why it will fail to work : because it is too early, or too late, and on the wrong target anyway. Their editorial on the IDF getting out of Lebanon two years ago or so was a beauty. It sounded like Hitler had just entered Poland.
