Zeev: I say ban Johnson. BTW, here is a very interesting quote from John Hussman's latest market musings. He agrees with you 100% on what is necessary for a decent bottom. Normally, large counter-trend rallies do not develop until the market experiences a very strong whipsaw in the behavior of market breadth, which suggests that we are likely to see at least one week of dreadful breadth (declining issues dramatically outnumbering advancing ones) before the market mounts any kind of sustainable bear-market rally, or (much less likely) a new bull market. For now, we simply have no evidence of investment merit or speculative merit upon which to justify taking market risk. Accordingly, we are fully hedged.

Zeev- I have waiting quite some time for you to say that.. I know you dont need my vote, but just in case- Ban Mr Johnson.. PLEASE.. Banning him from your 'hang out' would literally crush him.. and possibly in an ironic twist of fate, it may save the guys life.. Johnson has been on my ignore list for a long time. Unlike others on this thread I have a long list of posters on ignore. If they want to talk sports, or the middle east, or their grandkids cute sayings I don't need to waste my time reading it when I'm trying to earn a dollar. Ban Johnson as detrimental to the quality of the thread.

I vote to ban him Zeev. You have been more than flexible with MJ (whom I've had on ignore for some time FWIW). Sadly, some folks just can't help themselves & they engage the fool. It makes this great thread a bandwidth hog & time consuming to follow. When I go to a concert or any type of gathering where something of specific interest to me is scheduled, I'm there to be a part of what drew me to the venue. I do not want to have my experience ruined by a few hecklers who are trying to draw attention to themselves while disrupting the event. IMO, in situations like that, the hecklers should be ejected. Their freedom of speech does not allow them to impede others' freedom of expression........ they can exercise their first amendment rights by assembling elsewhere & express their opinions ad nauseam. I suggest you & Steve consider similar treatment for a few others here too if they insist on essentially heckling rather than participating. Tim Ö¿Ö

I think some of the posters really should be lurkers if they have nothing to offer for constructive discussion or information sharing. Van Johnson, movie actor from 40s and 50s. But as for Ban Johnson, i banned him via ignore ages ago, if everyone just did that, we would have know problem. To Ban MJ would give him a victory of anointing himself a Martyr. I do not want to give MJ the satisfaction of Martyrdom. As for those tired of reading "message ignored", this would not be a problem if all had him on ignore. I just get this vibe that MJ would feel glorified by being banned. FWIW, Max
