It completely changes the game

There is the rub. In soccer matches where 1 goal difference is usually THE difference, it changes everything. There are way too many soccer matches that are decided not on the playing field but from one erroneous ref whistle. I think something similar to only 3 (2?) video reviews similar to the NFL will be more than enough for soccer matches. Maybe even just two or even one. Every team just holds on to those calls till that one or two critical situations. Had video replay had been in effect in the Spain/Korea match, Spain would have been playing Germany not Korea. Way too many wrong calls in this world cup to not do something about it.

Either that or put two refs in the game. One ref has way too much ground to cover and expect to see every critical touch.
