I agree that Tom Siebel is over-compensated and that options are abused at SEBL, but your claim seems a bit over the top.

I too am very concerned and unhappy about the level of Tom Siebel's stock options, but your above statement is flat out wrong. Here is the link to Siebel's 2002 proxy. You won't find any 2001 grants to Tom Siebel with a strike price of less than one dollar, and you won't find any 2001 grants to Tom Siebel with a strike price below market price on the date of grant.

This seems extremely unlikely, and I don't believe the information regarding year 2002 option grants is public. Please show us your source.
