First, we have to establish that there is a difference between legal and illegal immigration. John loves to use the reactionary, "we are all immigrants" thing. Sure our ancestors were but there were laws then, just like now. As far as costs...well, what is the ultimate cost of uncontrolled borders? The Army is playing army anyway.
