Ann Landers must never have had a cat. If you roll the toilet paper under and leave enough hanging down that you can get hold of the end, the cat will have the whole thing unrolled and on the floor. If you roll the end over the top, then you can grasp the end without leaving anything dangling to attract a cat. I thought it was absurd for her to be so dogmatic about it. I never listened to anything else she said after that.
