The Nationwide is where I have all my money and loans. For the last 5 yrs or so the management has resisted every attempt to turn it from a building society into just another bank. Scumballs of all descriptions attempted to lure the the shareholders into accepting a windfall payoff and voting it into a goddam bank. As if we don't have enough of those things already.

Nationwide management get my vote...Job well done. F**k the miserable critics. Let them borrow and save at a bank...

Just another clown who puffed in at the top an now try's to sell something. Yea, the market is efficient. NOT! If you were a mega player like Buffet of Forestman/Little, how could you not just keep racking up assets your entire life. All you do is sit out on the patio and glance at the paper once in a while, when the ducks are quacking you sell [hell I-Bankers probably bang your door down] and when the pigs are squeeling you buy! Easy as pie.
