hello zeeve...i have been following you for about 2 months now..and have been totally amazed on the calls..no one is 100%..and it's very generous of your contributions..i don't post either but wanted to ask you something on your time frame of july 2nd being the latest period ..for the end of the nassacre...
seeing all is concern about july 4th being a target date for terror...could we just be flat for july 1,2,3...and if nothing happens on july 4th.. wouldn't july 5th be a better start of a rally? i can't imagine any real bullishness with the terror threat hanging over independence day and the breakdown of these indexes..without any real event causing a rally..unless we just get a mild rally..and that would be enough to give credit to the turnips predictions?....i play the international markets and i'm mainly looking for their rebound..which they will follow us..thanks for your input..

Zeev:

I looked at KKD after your post last night and made my decision by buying PUTs KKD Jul 35 this morning and it is tanking today. Any support levels where I could think about stepping out.

It looks like a thinly traded stock.

Zeev, How about July 1st as a turn date? July's first trading day has been up 11 of the last 12 (89-00). The Almanac gives it a 70.2% chance of rising. Perhaps just another one day oversold dead Naz bounce? Still long PM stocks waiting for the markets to put in a bottom. Thanks for all the Turnips insight and guidance.

From Bill Z to Zeev.
===========================================================
Mish.....

I am not posting this on the board. On SI, I wished to... but after registering, I found that I had to pay sixty bucks to do so, and I don't want to pay that, simply to respond to Mark Johnston. He's not worth it.... but could you forward this to Zeev?

I am a Presbyterian minister, and I apologize to Zeev for the crass anti-Jewish tone of Mark's post. Zeev is above it, I know. He has shown himself to be a self effacing man of integrity and honor.

I confess that Christians have treated Jews horribly through the centuries. It is said that that the worst place for a Jew to be during the middle ages was in the cathedral plaza... as Good Friday services were dismissed.... and good Christians poured out of the cathedral... looking for Jews to attack... for crucifying Christ. It is that image that Mark called up, perhaps unwittingly.

Regardless... I will give a donation tomorrow to Zeev's favorite charity..... Merimack Valley Hebrew Academy
