Yes, I have met girls sent by their families to obscure private colleges and universities to study interior design. My own sister in law started in interior design (part of the home ec department) at the University of Tulsa. Midway, she tranfered to a commercial design degree that was part of the architecture department at the University of Kansas. She has mostly worked doing interiors for corporations. She has done MacDonald's, Hecht's, other May Company stores, various shopping malls, malls in Singapore and other countries, and so forth.........
