I consider this a dumb argument, anyway. Even if it were correct, it would be a silly "gotcha". No one could prove the misstatement was a lie. A lot of things have gone on since the campaign. But more than that, anyone with half a brain would understand that things like 911 would make a difference, and not exactly need to have been cautioned about it during the campaign. So, it is a big yawn, and the White House, which has been a pretty busy place this year, did not do a thorough job trying to prove that Bush issued the caveats. Whoop- dee- doo..........
