Your premise is flawed. The US allows legal migrant/contract workers to come here and work. --Oh please, if the only people coming legally across the Border were the ones doing those jobs, half of those jobs wouldn't get done. And the cost of almost everything would be higher. For some reason you think only illegals will take "these" jobs. Maybe the reason they get paid less is that their boss can get away with paying them under the table. ---How many "Commercial" ditches have you dug lately Jim? How many White Americans have you seen doing Landscaping? Or cleaning the toilets in your Office Building. Look closer, maybe you'll see, zip, zero, nada. You think those people doing those jobs came across the Border legally to cut your grass, and clean your toilets?? I guess if you owned a Landscaping Business in Tucson, you'd make damn sure to only use American Workers, at Minimum Wage (Or Higher)...... To Cut Grass. Right??? So in a sense, if you are a taxpayer, you are having to subsidize this illegal activity. Jim ---Sorry Jim, I guess my priorities on Fighting Crime and "Illegal Activity" puts illegal aliens far down the list. I guess others have different priorities. I'll ask you the same question I asked Charles. There would NO DOUBT be higher costs asociated with what the both of you are arguing for, which would NO DOUBT be passed along to the consumer. Are YOU, PERSONALLY willing to pay higher prices for Food, Clothing, Transportation, Child Care, and dozens of other Products and Services in order to eliminate the Ilegal Alien problem??? If so, you are a very very very small minority. If not, then shut the hell up. semi
