If you appear sympathetic to the plight of illegals you can get the vote of people with the same sympathies. In border states this is very important... You start kickin' out illegals with the same heritage as voters then you will not get their vote. Bush knows this, why do you think he wants to naturalize millions of illegals? Typically the Dems use these tactics to get sympathetic votes but Bush wants to head them off. Jim
