Softechie..RFMD started the trend of re-affirmating their affirmations of their confirmations of their updated guidance of their previous guidance.

Then MMM took over the task.

Now, it's GE's turn.

Next up will be PG.

The idea is to do whatever it takes to prop up the Dow; so if a company has re-affirmed in a week, it is IMCUMBENT upon them to release news right away. It does not matter if the same company re-affirmed just 2 weeks ago.
