And when it is determined that, for most criminals, there are no physical causes of criminality? What then? Back to the current system? My scheme is not dependent on physical causes of criminality or social or psychological causes either. If no causes are found and determined likely to be found, then we quit studying them. I offer the criminal as a study subject only to demonstrate one of myriad possibilities for the criminal to make amends. If that turns out to not be useful, then we don't use it any more.
