As well they should be.

I believe in teaching young people about religion ... as a form of history ... without espousing one particular god-worship. For example, this is what Christians believe, this is what Moslems believe, this is what Hindus believe, etc. Leave it at that and take the 10 Commandments off the school walls and put 'em back in churches where they belong.

I also strongly believe in separation of church and state. Trouble with too many right-wingers today is that they not only want public school teachers to assume the role of parent, they also want public school teachers to assume the role of Sunday school teacher.

All for the sake of cultural preservation ... because the parents are too damn lazy to instill moral values in their kids ... or else because they spend every weekend on the gambling boats.
