Financing to keep cable company operable

NEW YORK, June 25 — Adelphia Communications Corp. is in the process of filing for bankruptcy court protection in New York, according to people familiar with situation. The company has secured $1.5 billion in debtor-in-possession financing.

At some point, people are going to say "I don't want to know, just sweep it under the rug, cuz I am going to go broke if they expose anymore fraud that further erodes investor confidence".

My opinion, best to rid the system of the cancer so that it doesn't sprout up again. But I am short, so it is easy for me to say.
