Isn't this just the opposite of what happened when the market was flying. They were saying Dow 36000, NAZ 10000. Now their saying everything is going to zero.

That's pretty over the top. Puetz window was at its peak yesterday through tomorrow, but could be considered open until July 8. The window first opened on June 18, by my calculation (the window where major crashes have historically occurred would be June 18-June 27, although some have occurred later than that).

Volatility around these windows seems to be the norm.
