Shocking -- "They came into my home, made me pay for my
own TV, then double-booked the revenues," said
Rachel Sanchez of Las Cruces, just north of
El Paso. "Right in front of my daughters."

Victor, thanks for the funny link...

Sadly I find it as funny as when I first read that headline that says a $3.8B error was found by WCOM.

After thinking about it, I suspect the market might have already discounted the cost if the cost was known and listed as a fuzzy asset (After having been burnt so many times by dotcoms, I've been discounting investments, goodwill, intangibles and "other assets" when determining a "reliable" book value for companies).

WCOM will now expense certain costs rather than capitalize them. With the costs now expensed to past periods, future earnings should appear better than otherwise!

>>So far, about 50 chief executives have been
captured, including Martha Stewart, who was
detained south of El Paso where she had cut
through a barbed-wire fence at the Zaragosa
border crossing off Highway 375. <<
LOL! If you can't trust Martha, who can you trust?
Btw
I just bought some Martha bed sheets at K-Mart.
