There isn't going to be a capitulation.

At least not like in the old days. Stock ownership is too broad based. If markets ever needed reasons to take a 10% haircut, today was the day. Instead, they're just floundering around on low volume, just like just about every other day.

Gold being held down, market unconcerned with quality of earnings. Business as usual.
