If you ever watch Boies argue in court (on TV), see if he has notes in front of him. I recall watching him argue during Bush v. Gore, and one of the commentators stated that Boies is dyslexic and therefore memorizes important points, case citations and quotes before entering court so that he need not refer to notes.

Talk about working from one's strengths and accounting for one's weaknesses. If true, Mr. Boies has some remarkable talent.
