I don't even have an initial. The designation for my middle name in the military was "NMN" (No Middle Name). A special request by my grandmother made naming my daughter a little difficult. Instead of going with 4 names, we hyphenated her middle name so it would conform to the 3-name standard. From my own experience I knew the incontinence of deviating from that. Applications, doctor's records, ect….
