Merrill would never stand for such poor systems internally. The big guys all dove into online accounts at the top and will all be out by the bottom. Impressive, aren't they!

I am stunned at how bad Merrill Lynch is

I am too

but read the fine print on all online accounts - they basically absolve themselves for all problems you encounter

I had an interesting experience with IB [direct access platform] this week - during an order entry, either by my doing or the systems [it happened so fast I'm sure what really happened], an order went in for $7 over bid and I mean immediately got filled

while I was trying to figure what the hell had gone on, within 5 minutes their governing body called me and told me they were breaking the trade

they did, it cost me .20 a share, well worth it

I was impressed
