I see my post from 6AM never made it. Here it is now. . .

I would just like to go on record as saying that the gap down will be bought today, particularly in the Nasdaq. After all, accounting issues are not a concern to high tech or biotech companies (who I predict will be the savior of the naz today, at least up until the Fed meeting). The Dow and S+P will lag, but more than cut their gaps in half heading into the noon hour. Either PG or MMM will prop the dow, and MSFT. . . well, any weakness there will be bought like crazy. I don't know that the gap will be closed, but the naz will get within 10 points of doing so. The put call will actually stay pretty high, thus giving rise to "the bottom was in today" calls. But freepbriefing.com thinks it probably wasn't.
