when the dust settles from this latest accounting fraud, investing in any stocks will make people think twice

CEO's are responsible for every function of their company

as safeguards, we have the board of directors [I've worked with them, over paid, under worked, more interested in picking up their checks than picking up a balance sheet]

then we have the analysts, who supposedly pour over ever aspect of 'their' assigned companies, keeping the investors well informed via their expertise

to make sure all the above people behave and are doing a proper job we have the external accounting firms auditing the books

when all of these systems fail you have to ask what the hell is happening

I am in amazement
