. If what I said is part of a school of thought, I never heard of it. It was something I conjured up on my own from an outline of the practical requirements, which are to make the victim as whole as possible and to protect society from criminals, neither of which the present system does well.

I think that's what's called thinking out of the box.

I'll nominate you for the OOTB DP panel, if there's a panel.
