were Pat to adopt me, and he wanted me to be Killer's cornerman, I'd be a cornerman ... a few years back I applied to be Paddy's gofer -- offered to live in the carriage house behind the mansion ... nearly had the position sewed up ... could just see myself living the LifeOfRiley in NJ .... he turned me down due to a slight flaw in my resume /// to live on the grounds at the Slevin Castle, one must be able to imbibe copious quantities of fermented beverages AND speak Gaelic ..... now, as I used to be an industrial strength drinker *(in the long ago and far away) but when doing so, I just seemed to lose all my Gaelic abilities .... oh well ......
