Gosh -- Martha's company losing $500 million -- it seems 'silly' to take a little bit of lying so seriously. Are we to assume that executives are no longer permitted to provide false information? What happened to the "new economy" where making stuff up and putting it in a press release was going to make everybody rich? Sheesh, how are we supposed to get rich if everybody has to tell the truth???? Next thing you know people will be forced to include compensation as an expense on their profit and loss statements -- how absurd.
