Mucho Maas: So that we can understand each other. I am not a permabull on QCOM. I still believe in it very much and still expect great things from it. However, I have been a seller of the stock as well as a buyer since late 1998. My initial and major "investment" position in Qcom was placed in late 1998. Since then, I have sold QCOM at $127, 130, $109, 103 1/2, 9915/16,83,74, 73, 69, 68,67,66,62,55. I quit selling at 55 in order to retain more than half of my original investment and started selling covered calls against the position.

I have taken much more off the table than my original investment. I have also taken in cash from the sale of the covered calls more than the original costs of the investments which reduce my average cost per share to less than 0.00.

I will not sell any more stock. I will continue to sell covered calls against my position in order to derive income in lieu of dividends.

I tell you this in response to your last post to me. I am not bragging. I am merely saying that QCOM is an amazing investment/trading/speculative vehicle to those who know how to use it wisely and well. Fortunately, three years of intense experience with the stock and the company has made me a wise "user" of QCOM as an investment/trading/speculative vehicle.

I believe that QCOM'S future is going to be richer than its past. Those who manage to hang in there will do very well for themselves. Those who hang in there and use QCOM wisely will realize a rich reward for their patience and perseverence.

I am not married to the stock. I use it the way I use my automobile: to get me from where I am to where I want to be. Sometimes I make the wrong turn. Sometimes I run out of gas and have to sit and wait for assistance. Sometimes I am content to merely cruise along at a reasonable speed and try to avoid the speed bumps. Sometimes I have a flat tire or an accident and have to repair the damage. But always, I am aware of the fact that QCOM is and has been an amazing investment/trading/speculative vehicle which richly rewards those who know when and how to use it.

Mucho -- I guess you are a : "the market is never wrong" - kind of guy.

I can give many examples where the market absolutely was wrong.

Anyone with staying power can make a lot of money when the market is "wrong."
