I tend to be conservative on many issues. (I am a libertarian). Gloop and Perry are good people whether or not I disagree with them on this. People on this thread will often use hyperbolic expressions but I have found that they are, almost without exception, some of the best people I have met. And many of the people on this thread have met repeatedly. So, where I won't condone either comments. I also will not hold it against them since I know where it was coming from.

When I see something that is ridiculous I will generally address with the same amount of extreme sarcasm that goes the other way. Its a great tool to probe people and make them to take a stand. When someone uses a remark like I did its going to draw a reaction which is exactly what I'm seeking. While I know it leads people who don't know me to incorrect conclusions it also gives me access to what they are really thinking.
