well.....
we only say the pledge once a week in regular school. We don't normally say it at all in summer school- there are no rules on whether or not we need to say it, and so I do not, since I have plenty of other things to do with my kids. I just asked my kids- they are both in other classes for summer school at the same school where I teach, and they haven't been saying it either. So I'd say it is a non-issue until September, by which time I'm sure our school board will have taken a position.
