So, the question is: do you believe the people who have followed through on most of their promises, or do you believe the people who can't seem to get even their short term predictions correct. For that reason (and the fact that whether CDMA-2000 wins the standards battle is partly a function of the lead they have built up by the time WCDMA becomes viable) is why the numbers are pertinent.

Oh, heck, Clark, like you and others here, I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Qultist who worships at the Jacobs' altar and am happy to do it. But to suggest that a graph depicting QCDMA's present lead over WCDMA accurately predicts the future is over the top.

I hope the graph stays that way. Realistically, however, one has to recognize that the absolute bulk of 3G contracts are WCDMA. When they get rolled out, the graph is going to look a lot different.

Hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it. A very big reason why I invested in Q is the high-margin WCDMA royalties I think will enrichen us.

Getting excited about the graph Mq linked is like predicting who is going to be a corporate CEO by looking at a high school sophomore class yearbook.
