And then the argument that it's cheaper to lock them up for life than execute them disappears! :-) You can't think of any approach at all to reduce violent crime except killing a tiny percentage of those who commit violent crimes? But only a fraction of those who commit violent crimes are eligible at all. The crime has to result in death. But I asked YOU for your proposals. You're not going to step up to the plate?
