Thanks for posting that. Factual information is so much more helpful than unsupported statements by people from "think tanks."

Based on what I read there, I find it hard to see how this bill is an example of how "far-left lawmakers are conspiring to ram through legislation aimed at putting Sierra Club, Planned Parenthood and their allies in charge of your life."

It's a bi-partisan bill, originally drafted by a Republican and a Democrat, and currently sponsored by the same Democrat and a different Republican.

Wes Vernon's response to this bill, as expressed in his article from NewsMax.com, is incomprehensible to me. Frankly, it now strikes me as being hysterical.

I'm not sure there would ever be any real benefit from it, but the bill seems to seek only to try to help local and state governments do a better job of planning for growth and the use of resources. Is intelligent planning a bad thing?
