Hi Doug,

Re: I actually lean toward being apolitical...or "non-aligned"...

I have not been so politically involved myself since 1971. We were then clearly in danger of having a government that could have eased over into fascism, suppressing the citizenry in the mad pursuit of adventurism in SouthEast Asia.

I became alarmed only after the election deadlocked in 2000, and the political manuveuring began to give off a torpid stench. The judicial coup d'etat in December made it clear that democracy was in danger. The ruthless destruction of the American system of governance since 9/11 has indicated that we are in a clear and present danger of having our country taken over by a criminal cabal. This has necessarily got me alarmed.

I'll try to provide URLs as we go along. You've got a basic kit of some of the better sources on the Web. We must keep ourselves informed and we must develop resources beyond the reach of the U.S. Marshalls in order to make sure that the Bush Mafia doesn't get the opportunity to tear down more of the open source information on the Web than they already have.

-Ray
