Without having read the decision, I can't comment on the analysis. But, from a practical point of view, yes, I think it's a flaky result. Gus mentioned that our legal tender has "In God We Trust" on it. The logical extension of this decision would appear to be that the issuance of currency with that legend on it is unconstitutional. I suggest we avoid the problem by having everyone send ME their currency. I will safeguard it until this thorny legal issue can be settled.
