Classic non sequitor and pointless diversion from the topic at hand.

Thanks for being so obtuse.

I think Ray is actually Al Gore in disguise.... and he's still pissed about the election.

If only he could have carried his home state of Tennesee.

and how did Bill and Hillary let Arkansas slip away... It really does make you wonder.

GW Bush is real salt of the earth and he's a smart guy. I think Ray's just playing around with us trying to test us

I've been to Midland Texas, and even played a rugby tournament there back in 1980-81 or so. The people who are living in Midland are much more grounded in objective reality than Most of us. They also have a better sense of being a member of a community than those in NYC and LA....and have retained some of the small town heritage and common-sense that IS the legacy of US society.

We do have 3 branches of Government in the US and state and local government also have sinificant roles and influence as well. I've lived in European and on the Pacific Rim as well as my time in the US and The US is the best deal going in my own experience.

but individual experiences will vary
