Freudian slip. Surprisingly, there are some even today who secretly think Nazis weren't so bad, after all...

Also surprising are those who yearn for the McCarthy era, with it's comfortable, overwhelming all-powerful central government control, and easy answers to everything.

Three books I can highly recommended, but are hard to get:
"Police State", Jules Archer
"The Beast Reawakens", Martin Lee
"Friendly Fascism", Bertram Gross

The Lee book traces post-WWII Nazis into the US and Russia via the Ghelen Group of spies contracted by Dulles of the CIA. Thousands of contractors and hundreds of political operatives were brought into US right-wing politics in the 50's and decades thereafter. He names some of the leaders, their affiliates, and ongoing publications and newsletters of related people like Rev. Moon and the Washington Times, etc.

The Gross book delineates in historical detail how corp-government alliances create secrecy at the expense of the citizen, exactly as your lpdallas.org article describes Bush, Inc.
