He wants all citizens merely to accept his and Ashcroft's agenda. How soon we forget that this is the same Bush that when the Enron issue first came up and questions were asked, his response was..."This is merely a fishing expedition" and no one should question him or HIS cronies. Well now that we have only drug in the "fishing" net a little ways...guess what we find in the net? Enron, Dynegy, CMS, Williams, Imclone, Tyco, WorldCom and the poster girl for elitist society...Martha Stewart. And lets not forget that little outfit that Cheney ran...Halliburton. Yep! Shrub this is merely a "fishing expedition" and to think they have only skimmed the surface of the pond...just think what they will catch when they drop the net down in the deeps where the real scum has sunk? That is where the blood sucking scavenger are lying...waiting to suck the life savings of the working class. To think...TYC had an agreement with their CFO that IF he WAS charged with malfeasance of his duties and let go, he WOULDN'T have to wait for his going away bonus, but that he could get it immediately. Talk about the corruptness of corporate greed...do some bad to destroy a company, get a huge bonus for doing it...and you don't have to wait for your money. And to think...we have people in prison for stealing food******************************************************* "It also offers a contrast to the conduct of Bush and his top aides last winter when questionable bookkeeping practices at Enron Corp. that put the Houston-base energy trader on the road to bankruptcy first were disclosed. Then, the White House sought to make light of a long friendship between Bush and fellow Texan Kenneth Lay, the former Enron chairman. Administration officials declined to answer broad questions about administration contacts with Enron and sought to discourage congressional inquiries, with White House spokesman Ari Fleischer ( news - web sites) referring to them as partisan "fishing expeditions."
