Come on! Step up and tell me that you want this woman to prevail in this court of law in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. "Lifting Veil for Photo ID Goes Too Far, Driver Says By DANA CANEDY IAMI, June 26 — A Muslim woman who says the state is violating her religious rights in demanding that she remove her veil for a driver's license photograph will be in court this week to try to regain her driving privileges. The Florida Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles revoked the license of the woman, Sultaana Freeman, in January after she refused to replace her photograph with one showing her face. Ms. Freeman, 34, a homemaker from Winter Park near Orlando says doing so would violate her religious beliefs, and she is suing the state in Orange County Circuit Court seeking reinstatement of her license. A hearing is set for Thursday to determine whether the state's demand is unconstitutional." +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I know you want all this religious freedom, so tell me that when this lady wins her case, in the future all al-Queda members have to do is get in line to board a plane in the United States of America, cover their faces and merely walk through security and not be identified. Lets see! The previous time in America history that a religious practice was forced by the government to be stopped was when the citizens of Utah had to give up polygamy before they were allowed to become a part of the United States of America. So are we now going to allow polygamy to return to the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.( As if it has been stopped in Utah.) Are we going to over turn this courts decision as it relates to the Pledge of Allegiance and allow our students to offer up this pledge while little Johnny from the Church of Holy Rollers starts his snake handling activity right there in the classroom. I can just see it now....all these little pledgers hanging around when Johnny brings in that six foot rattler so he can commune with God right there in Ms. Jones's reading class.
